VRIDHACHALAM OUTCROP: Named after Parur village, Vridhachalam area, TamilNadu. Type locality = 4 km NNE of the Parur village

Lithology and Thickness

Sandstone. Pebbly and cobble medium to coarse sandstone, conglomerate and shale. The sandstone is micaceous, with a clayey cement.
